Three Irishmen become stranded on a tiny island off the coast of Galway. As they start to panic, a leprechaun appears and offers each of them a wish.

The first man asks for the ability to swim. He is transformed into an athlete and swims to the mainland.

The second man asks to become an engineer. He too is transformed and builds a boat and sails to the mainland.

The third man asks to be more intelligent.

...The leprechaun turns him into a woman and she walks across the bridge.
